He is a globally acclaimed scientist and educationist, renowned for his outstanding contributions to organic chemistry and higher education reform in Pakistan. With over 1,300 research publications and 83 books, he is a pioneer in natural product chemistry and the first Muslim scientist to receive the UNESCO Science Prize.
