Shaikh Atif Mehmood is a dedicated academic and healthcare professional with over a decade of experience in medical imaging, teaching, and academic leadership. Currently serving as Director at the Institute of Health Sciences, Khyber Medical University (KMU), Islamabad, he has played a pivotal role in curriculum development and academic program coordination across radiology and allied health sciences. He holds a Master of Health Professions Education and an MS in Ultrasound, alongside a BSc in Medical Imaging Technology.

His expertise spans clinical radiology, curriculum design, leadership in higher education, and professional training. He has actively contributed to research in radiologic science, with multiple peer-reviewed publications and supervision of undergraduate research. Atif has also led and organized several national and international conferences and workshops focusing on medical education, patient safety, and quality assurance.
