Dr. Yasir Parviz
MBBS, MRCP (UK), MRCP (Lon), CCT (medicine, cardiology), FACC, FRCP, MSc, PhD
Dr. Yasir Parviz is a UK Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist with over 20 years of international experience across the UK, USA, Canada, and the UAE. Renowned for his expertise in complex coronary interventions and precision diagnostics, he is recognized as one of Dubai’s leading cardiologists.
He holds dual Certificates of Completion of Training (CCT) in Cardiology and Internal Medicine from the UK, and has completed advanced interventional fellowships at top institutions including Columbia University Medical Center (USA), University of Western Ontario (Canada), and Sheffield Teaching Hospitals (UK). He also earned a Ph.D. in Intracoronary Imaging and Physiology and an MSc in Cardio-Renal Diseases from the University of Central Lancashire, UK.
Dr. Parviz specializes in intravascular imaging (IVUS, OCT) and coronary physiology (FFR, iFR), using these technologies to guide precise and patient-specific treatments. His clinical focus includes complex PCI, chronic total occlusions, bifurcation lesions, restenosis, and cardiovascular care in patients with diabetes and chronic kidney disease. He is also skilled in rotational atherectomy, minimal contrast angiography, and peripheral vascular interventions.
Widely respected for his academic background, patient satisfaction, and advanced procedural techniques, Dr. Parviz continues to shape modern interventional cardiology with innovation and clinical excellence.
